2011 WIP Wednesday #3

Well, it's kind of a tricky thing...

All of my WIPs are pretty much at the same point they were last time!

But I have an excuse. 

This is from a year ago, and so many things have changed.
New siding, new car...

 Well a couple actually.

And neither of them include snow.

Can you believe it?

Here in MN, where a 18" snowstorm only shuts us down for a day.... we didn't get snow this time.

Or not much.

6 inches maybe, and it was the fluffy stuff.

Meanwhile, back at my old stomping grounds of Chicago (suburbs), the world is ending ;)

Ok, back to my excuses.

Well I spent the last week sick. So I figure that has to count from something.

I spent all weekend and quite a few nights on the couch.

Not good enough?

Ok, how about I looked at the calendar yesterday and realized it is a short month?

And in this short month, we will be on the road one weekend to Chicago (weather pending),

Honeymoon Cruise - January 2010

and then BAM we will be warming up in the BAHAMAS!

I can't believe it is this month!

While looking VERY forward to warmth and sun, I am starting panic.

We need suitcases dug out

sunscreen checked

new clothes......

Actually on Friday we tried to do some clothes shopping.
I was successful with a new swimsuit.

However, the men's departments just don't have much for summer clothes.

And when you have to drive over an hour to a mall, that's a sad thing.

Anyway, that all being said, my WIPs may stay as they are for this month....
