This post is for me to see what NEEDS to be done.
I have not been to good at getting things accomplished lately.
Unless you consider adding more things and reading a lot as accomplishing stuff :)
With a three day weekend and rain in the forecast, I am aiming to do some damage on these WIPs.

Place Mat (3 done, 1 to go)
In A Manger Wall Hanging (2)

Your projects are all so beautiful!! I love your Girly quilt! :)
ReplyDeleteI have used Pellon Shape Flex Fusible Interfacing White SF101 (sold at JoAnns) to stabilize t-shirts when making quilts.
ReplyDeleteI love your girly hst quilt. I can't wait to see that one when it is done.
Ack, I love the girly HSTS!
ReplyDeleteThe girly HSTs are soooo cute! And I love those pinwheel placemats. Good luck on your WIPs! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )
ReplyDeleteLots of good stuff! As to the stretchy material, to look really good, use some type of interfacing (iron-on) or stabilizer first, then cut out the shapes. I've had some non-perfectionist luck using a stretch stitch on my machine to sew them together, without interfacing, but it can get pretty distorted. Again, if it'll go on a wall, use interfacing, if it's going to be on an unmade bed, sewing carefully will do the trick ;-).
ReplyDeleteHst are looking wonderful and I love the coffee fabric quilt! The scraps would be great fabric for a mugrug too!!
