Dog Bed

A finish! Yay!

So if there was an award for recycling, I think this project would win.

We got Larry about 2 1/2 weeks ago.

I knew he needed his own bed.

Wal-Mart's finest wouldn't cut it for us though.

(Wal-Mart is 20 miles away, the pet store.... about 70!)

Long before I ever dreamed we would own a dog I had read somewhere how all of those teeny tiny scraps and threads and what-nots make really good dog bedding stuffing.

Its hard to take good pics of black dogs!

So I took an old duvet cover that I had made a LONG time ago by sewing two IKEA sheets together.

I cut off a corner of it.

Sewed up the two other sides.

Stuffed in the extra parts of the duvet cover, and a 5 gallon bucket of scraps!

Larry likes it!

(Even though one side of it is pink!)
