Yup, I jumped into the Mug Rug madness.
I made this little guy this week.
I think it turned out pretty good for just making it up as I went.
I think its funny that I used the same color thread when I quilted inside and outside the star.
In the pictures it looks like two different colors.
I am not too sure about the back.
But no one will see that because, as of this morning, it is sitting on my desk at work.
I also have been trying to find a way to quick sign and date things.
A friend gave me these sharpie markers.
They are probably for shoes and stuff, but I thought this is the perfect place to try them.
I think I will try washing this sometime and see if it washes out or not.

ReplyDeleteI tried several different kinds of markers and pens on a piece of fabric and then washed it to see which one worked best. Of course I can't remember now which one it was now.... have to try that again!
