~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I actually have some stuff to report today.
Come see what everyone else has too!
W.I.P.
4th of July Table Runner
I know, I am running a little behind.
But that's ok, it will definitely be ready for next year.
Speaking of next year...
In a Manger
I started this around Christmas last year.
It will be done this year.
It has to be.
I also have everything to make another one.
Sister's Surprise Quilt
I hope she does not read this, but if she does, well she can see that I am making progress.
A LONG time ago (maybe a year) she gave me all of her softball jerseys from age 5 to 20.
Well, no, only to 18. (She's 22) She could not part with her college ones just yet.
At the time I was just learning all of this quilting stuff.
I was not going to practice on these.
So I finally have started to cut out the fronts and backs.
The only issue I have now is what do I do for sashing and background.
She has every color of the rainbow in there!!!!
Finished
I had a HUGE finish this week.
You will have to stop by Friday when I can write more about it and show some good pictures.
Just a little preview of the sewing area after the tornado hit I finished it all.
This is only one corner, and most of the pattern pieces strewn about.
Any ideas on how I store them in case I need them again someday?
(Doubt it!)
Until then,
KristyLou
You know to put interfacing on those t-shirts, right? I haven't actually made one with t-shirts yet but was asked to so I did some research. I was pretty much told it was a must to cut down on the stretching and movement of the fabric. Just wanted to let you know!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your big finish! I love your holiday WIPs. Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )
